Shvilei Horaah and it's flagship Kav Halacha serve as a central address for all members of the English speaking community, ensuring they have where to turn for Halachic guidance at all times. While not replacing the ideal personal relationship with a Rav, there are times when one cannot reach their Rav or as a newcomer or visitor, does not yet have a local Rav with whom to consult. With the participation of the Gedolai HaPoskim of the communitty, the Kav Halacha aims to assist the English speaking community by providing the opportunity to ask shailos in their native language.

The hotline operates 24 hours a day, with special lines for Sephardi, Choshen Mishpat and Refereal for Rabbonim with complicated Shaylos.

With dozens of Rabbonim, the Kav Halacha and its Batei Horaah assit hundreds of members of the English speaking community; men, women, bochurim, seminary girls and visitors from all parts of the Torah communitty.
